I think being a heartlander is a state of mind ...... and it
doesn't have anything to do with one's pop culture preferences or
certain religious practices .....
I remember the very next day after I came back .... I went for a
walk at the zheng hua town centre .... the kopitiams, the wet
markets, the fruit stalls, the provision shops, the people ..... I
felt I've come .... home.
Pop cultutre preferences or certain religious practices does
affect the state of one's mind
That is what I always believe.
Also I noticed there is a pretty wide disparity in thinking
between the English & Chinese Ed (our parents generation) and
these also affect the pop culture preferences etc.
Oh ya what I find most disgusting is that these men will go to
places like Batam, Vietnam or some 3rd world country, get a
mistress there and then they proudly say they are saving the poor
young girl from vice.
